Unfortunately, designers aren’t mind readers. Yes, they may have good sectoral knowledge, and they may know how to conceive great design concepts but they’re relying on you to give them the building blocks, the fundamentals to make it happen.
1. Start with an overview of the business – its purpose and values.
2. Cover the scope of the project.
3. Define the audience.
4. Understand the competition.
5. Set specific goals.
6. Show what you already have.
7. Set the schedule.
8. Determine the budget.
